Parameters
Every number in the protocol, in one table. The same constants drive this page, the app and every other page of this documentation, so nothing here can drift out of sync.
| Parameter | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Default withdrawal delay | 24h | Applied to a new vault unless the owner picks another value. |
| Shortest delay | 6h | Lower bound the owner can choose. |
| Longest delay | 7 days | Upper bound the owner can choose. |
| Delay step | 1h | Granularity of the delay picker. |
| Shortening the delay | Waits the current delay | Lengthening applies at once. |
| Changing the backup wallet | Waits the current delay | The old backup wallet keeps its powers until then. |
| Rescue by backup wallet | Only while a withdrawal is pending | Moves everything to the backup wallet. Free. |
| Silence clause | Optional, chosen at creation | Can be turned on or off later by the owner; turning it on waits the current delay. |
| Silence: inactivity period | 12 months | Without any owner action before the backup wallet can start a claim. |
| Silence: notice period | 30 days | Public notice after a claim starts. Any owner action cancels it. |
| Fee on executed withdrawals | 0.10% | Waived for wallets staking $HILT. |
| Fee on cancel and rescue | None | Cancelling or rescuing is always free. |
| Fee split | 50% buy and burn, 30% stakers, 20% treasury | Of every fee collected. |
| Oracle, market hours, KYC | None | The vault never asks for a price, a time of day, or an identity. |
About these values
These are the protocol defaults for the preview. They will be fixed at deployment, when the contracts go live on Robinhood Chain, and any change before then will appear here first.
Two of them are chosen per vault by the owner: the delay, within its bounds, and whether the silence clause is on. The rest are protocol-wide and the same for every vault.
Reading the table
- Waits the current delay means the change is requested now and takes effect only after a full delay has passed. It applies to everything that could make the vault weaker: shortening the delay, changing the backup wallet, turning the silence clause on.
- Immediate changes are the ones that make the vault stricter or safer: lengthening the delay, turning the silence clause off, cancelling a pending withdrawal.
- The fee applies only to withdrawals that execute. See Fees for the split and a worked example.
Definitions for every term are in the Glossary. The mechanics are in How it works.
